We were ALL over the place today, but it was a great day! The skills team completely finished all our wheelchair runs today, AND the extra curb study we added, AND the Hope Haven accelerometer study the engineers had us do, AND Sarah and I got a good stab into LLFQ stuff! Whew!! It was great. Hopefully the rest of the week will be somewhat lighter because of that. This week we will mostly be wrapping up tests, getting any additional data, and doing anything else we want to.
Funny moment of the day…my very last kid, Justin, informed me two tests into his wheelchair run that he wanted to go to class and finish the tests after lunch. Ha! What was a supposed to say? No? We had time, so it worked well…it was just so funny to me…very good that he wanted to keep up with school, though. :)
Tomorrow some of the wheelchair manufacturers and other important people will be here, watching us all work and hearing about what our research results are! Mrs. Rispin gathered the preliminary results from all of us and started to analyze them to present to everyone. It’s very cool seeing the data you’ve helped gather in a graph, actually illustrating something and showing the significance of your work. It makes you feel like you’ve helped accomplish something pretty cool. :)
Oh, and this is what happens when you let a kid borrow your camera. ;)
